Message on twitter over an hour ago, (7:30am) @velcomcom Our cable service is still impacted by the outage. There has been a major fiber cut affecting several businesses. The upstream provider has been working around the clock to restore the service.

Internet still out in Toronto after 24 hours. No updates from Velcom.

No wifi since yesterday at 8am… was on hold 3 hours yesterday afternoon and told it was a Rogers line issue. They said the fix would take a few hours, at most a day. Still no internet today.

Still down since 8:00 AM. Totally unacceptable Rogers. It's not at Velcom's end, unless they didn't pay their bill. :)

Velcom internet down since 8am this morning in Richmond Hill. Heard it is a Rogers problem. No ETA on when it will be fixed.

No internet connection since morning. Unable to login to office. Called customer care, was user number 59 when I dialled.. told 9 minutes of waiting time.. after 1 hrs 59 times of call waiting I was still user number 16. (North york - M2N6Y7)
